I’m very into everyone Getting Involved so here are some options for you!
1. If you’re into Singing
then come along to the Harrison Singaround. It takes place on the third Saturday of every month downstairs at the Harrison Pub, 28 Harrison St, London WC1H 8JF. A singaround is a folk singing session where everyone is welcome to bring a song, sing along or just listen. There are song books you can have a look through too. It’s totally free!
2. If you are into folk music/ dancing
then get involved with Queer Folk! We regularly run queer ceilidhs at Cecil Sharp House, London, run courses and concerts. Updates on what we’re up to can be found on our website and instagram!
3.If you like reading
and identify as a dyke (whatever that means for you) then just drop me an email to join the Big Dyke Book Club. We meet six times a year and take it in turn to choose the books we read!
4. If you are a poet, writer or musician
and would like a space to share your work then email me via the contact form to take part in Patterned Ground, a night for new writing and music in Housemans Bookshop
5. If you would like to learn the accordion
then get in touch with me via the contact form! I teach online and in person in London!
